Community Development
The GUDE Community Development Foundation was initiated by the District Head of Lamorde and co-founded by District Heads of Gella and Yadafa. Our mission is to unite the Gude people to take responsibility for improving their wellbeing.
We are committed to addressing the challenges of poverty, the adverse economic impact of past insecurity, and supporting our youth through education and skills development.
We focus on four main areas to create lasting positive change in our communities.
Scholarships, learning materials, and school infrastructure to support quality education.
Entrepreneurship training, vocational skills, and business start-up support.
Promoting community harmony, conflict resolution, and security initiatives.
Improving community access to health services, preventive sensitization, and curative medicine support.
The Agriculture Committee of the GCDF held its 3rd meeting on August 5, 2026, at the residence of DC (Rtd) Adamu Barkindo (Sadaukin Mubi Emirate) in Lamorde, continuing progress on agricultural development plans for Gude communities.
